openFood cutting flash game Web Original
I remember my cousin playing this food cutting flash game on the computer. What I remember was that you had to cut fruits and you had to do well on it. There would be voices that would say yay if you did it right and boo if you did it wrong. Does anyone know this game?
openA wild customer appears? Web Original
I'm trying to find a site I swore I got to from TV tropes a few years ago. It was basically just a log of a few rpg sessions where the guy was playing an IT consultant who had to deal with customers like enemy encounters.
openFanfiction of My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic Web Original
A short story fanfiction: Pinkie Pie and Rarity share a hot tub, Pinkie Pie is in there to soothe her tummy ache from eating too much black licorice, and only too late does Rarity notice the "Out of Order" sign. When Rarity realizes exactly where the bubbles are coming from, she has a Freak Out and gets hauled away in a straitjacket. I'm pretty sure I read it on fimfiction.net

Edited by Miss_DesperadoopenPokemon Fan-Artist Web Original
Anyone know the name of this fan-artist? They're Japanese and have a Pixiv, or at least they did several years ago. They're a Pokémon fan-artist who draws a lot of fanart of Red and the Kanto characters. I remember one comic took place in a tournament and showed Sklya as a little girl.
resolved 3-D animated childhood-ruining YouTube video (FOUND) Web Original
(MATURE CONTENT AHEAD. I swear this isn't a creepypasta.)
I remembered watching this old youtube video when I was eight years old. I don't remember the title, but I remember this video clearly. It was a 3-D animated parody of Donald Duck, and it starred him and his nephew, Louie. All of the dialogue was in text to speech, with Donald himself having an ungodly deep voice.
The video opened with Donald telling his nephew that it must be hard to live without a mother. I don't remember exactly what was said afterward, but I do remember Donald mentioning that Dewey got himself a homeless man as a roommate, while Huey was seen outside fisting a dead deer.
This is when the weird part came in. Donald suggested that he become Louie's mother, and proceeded to put on a dress. At this point, Louie said "Uncle, please put your clothes back on." Donald didn't do as he asked; instead, he forced Louie to "suck milk from his mother's breast". Which he did.
After Donald was done doing more acts that I can't really say on this forum, he tucked Louie into his bed and whispered this before he closed the door:
"Sleep tight, my baby. Tomorrow, we'll start over."
The video ended with Louie hanging by a noose on a tree in the backyard.
Edited by YuriHaru567openCreepypasta about a benevolent creature that pretends to be a dog Web Original
Man is reminiscing about his deceased dog. I forget how, but he comes across a dog that looks just like his old dog. Man is unnerved and shoos the dog away, not wanting to be heartbroken again. Thief threatens man with knife and dog gets between them and growls at thief. Thief goes to kill the dog, but the dog shapeshifts into a horrific beast and devours the thief. Dog shapeshifts back and wags tail at the man. Man takes good boy home.
openBlue's Clues parody Web Original
I remember watching this Blue's Clues parody video many years back. What I remember is that the plot revolved around the protagonist/Steve stand-in hallucinating the whole thing, and it involved a "drinking chair" instead of a "thinking chair", and the Blue stand-in was a girl in a dog costume named "Sunshine" or something similar. One scene I do remember is "Sunshine"/whoever the dog was called shooting the Steve stand-in, causing him to wake up from the hallucination. I also remember that the scenes set in the "real world" involved a whiteboard.
Does anybody know what I'm talking about?
resolved Book recommendation site that ranks books according to various metrics Web Original
Metrics include amount of sexual content, weird vs. conventional, complicated vs. straightforward, and a whole lot of others I've forgotten about, so you can get very specific about the kind of book you're looking for. You can also sort books by country. I found If I Fall, If I Die through that website, and I think they also have a page on An Unkindness of Ghosts.
Edit: Found it! It's whichbook.net.
Edited by Madison14open[SOLVED] Web game about budgeting and financing Web Original
EDIT: This game has been found. It's called SPENT and it can be played here. Thank you rubyswimmer21 for finding this.
Last year, I had to play a game online for one of my classes at school. It was about living on a budget of I think 50 dollars to start with and you had to make it through a month with what you have and what you earn throughout the game. You had to pick from three jobs (I think they were a waiter, warehouse/hard labor, and a temp agency) and how much you make a week depends on what job you pick. You then have to get an apartment that's either close to your work where you spend less on gas but the rent is expensive, or a cheap apartment far from work and you have to spend more gas money.
There where several scenarios where something bad comes up such as your car breaking down or dental issues and having to decide to spend money on those issues if you can afford it, and if you can't then you have to deal with the consequences of not doing so. Other problems include: Health insurance, spending money on your kid's lunch so they don't get made fun of for being on the free lunch program, buying groceries, dealing with a pet's illness, getting fired for things like joining a union or being framed for bullying after you tell off some co-workers for making fun of you, and workplace injuries.
There were other ways to earn money such as breaking open your kid's piggy bank, selling some of your stuff, and allowing a friend to stay over in exchange for money (only for your landlord to either raise your rent or kick you out; I forget which).
At the end of the month, the game tells you something like "You have [X amount of money]... but rent is due tomorrow."
The color scheme was mostly dark grey and red.
Hopefully, someone knows what I'm talking about. My mind is totally blank as to what the name of this game was.
Edited by KToonzopenYouTube video about the current state of animation. Web Original
I remember a few years ago I watched a video on You Tube talking about the current state of modern animated movies. This was an English video, I might say American English, and was released between or after the hate-train that was the Emoji Movie (So, 2016-2017). I remember specifically that it was a video in the style of the Krusty Krab Training Video. I vividly remember that the beginning of the video was a parody of the Emoji Movies trailer (and the whole film in general) where instead of emojis there were Grey blobs and a product placement robot. The intro parody was called "The generic movie" if I remember correctly. The title was along the lines of "How to make your own modern animated movie" or something.
openWoman meets two of herself from alternate timelines Web Original
A woman (who I think is playing a comedy writer in the work) meets two of herself from alternate timelines. One is a mother who advocates for drugs and the other is a Russian dancer. Two thirds of the way through the woman gets angry at the Russian lady for acting snotty. I think Russian lady talks about how life was hard and I think it's implied that she's gay?
The actress is American and the background involves a dark coloured curtain.
openDog-Training Youtuber Web Original
Does anyone know this Youtuber?
He's a dog Youtuber who focuses on dog-friendly training. I know he's made several videos complaining about choke collars, dominance~based training, Cesar Milan, etc. I think he's around 20-24, white, and is either American or Canadian.
openHorror video, 3d, black and white Web Original
Some years ago I came across a part of an animation within someone's signature on same random forum. It seemed compelling so I tracked it down. It was a 3d animation, done in black and white, realistic, featuring some sort of hellish chaotic realm where bodies were being infected with darkness and twitched/spasamed, spinning their heads in circles, bent in unnatural shapes, you name it. I THINK they also conglamerated in huge shapes, but I'm not certain. I believe it also had a calmer white part of that realm where nothing moved which was attacked? infected? by the black influence. I don't recall if the video had any particular music in the background. The animation was pretty lifelike, aside from the weird movement and color palette, but that was some years ago so it might seem less so nowdays.
The video left quite the impact on me, but my pc had suffered a critical hd failure and I can't get to either the bookmark or the part of the video from that signature. I seem to remember that the author of the video had made a facebook page for it and sold dvd with high resolution video, but I also can't track it down. Pretty certain the author/authors didn't have an anglophone name or origins if that helps...
I will be VERY grateful if anyone can help me with this, I tried multiple times to track it down, bit no luck.
Thank you
openHarry Potter fansite? Web Original
This is an old one but I remember back before the movies/in the early days of harry potter fandom there was this one website where people submitted song parodies about harry potter or little musical skits where the characters sing.
It was primarily a text based site but had image illustrations on the main page and as headers where it was fanart of the harry potter characters in some sort of music related scenario, always black and white if I remember correctly.
I can't remember what the site was called but would love to see even an archived/cache'd version of any part of it for nostalgia/fandom history reasons.
openSchaffrillas video Web Original
I remember what I think one of Schaffrillas Productions' ranking videos where he says he kind of likes the idea of a spoiled brat character "but on the other hand, he's a spoiled brat".
open[SOLVED] Analog horror about nuclear war and fallout Web Original
The video was similar to a regular PSA about nuclear bombs and such, but it was somewhat stylized. It had a pinkish, 1950s-1970s-esque filter over the video. The sections of information had numbers in one of the corners, and some of the segments were missing. Near the end of the video, it shows a fallout shelter with a crack in the corner and radioactive particles that look like stock image germs seeping in from the crack, and eventually making their way into the shelter. At the end, it says something like "There are no winners in a nuclear war" or something like that.
I tried looking up 'nuclear war analog horror' on Youtube, but I couldn't find the specific video. Perhaps it got deleted
Edited by mitzioletopenFlash Talking Fish Web Original
When I was in high school, I took classes in Flash animation (back when Flash was strictly for Web Animation only), and among the material we studied was a little series of animation featuring talking fish - they were stylized to look like somewhat realistic fish, but with floppy mouths, a lot like the kind of stuff you'd find on old sites like JibJab. I remember one such episode was a musical one where the fish are on a plane, and one of the passengers falls in love with the stewardess who handed out bags of peanuts, the chorus from that song has never left my head: "Peanut lady, how do you do? Peanut lady, I think I'm in love with you." I have searched the internet high and low for these Flash fish, and can't find anything. Does anyone remember these?
openGame Grumps video/episode Web Original
Does anyone know which video/episode Danny talked in a nasally, geeky voice and then claimed that's how he talked when he wasn't working?
openVegetable hospital (solved) Web Original
An animated horror short, possibly a music video, on You Tube. About a hospital in which the patients are turned into literal vegetables. I think the main story surrounded a child who discovered this process happening to his grandmother.
Edited by Fuzzytheduck
It involved badly drawn art, bad grammar, Mario going to get Shine Sprites to have sex with a Toad (represented as a picture of a naked woman with a Toad head crudely pasted on) that at the end was some kind of monster in disguise and a flying Bowser pooping on everyone's head (with the narrator box saying "BOWSER GO SHIT" every time). Also at a certain point the video stops until the user doesn't click on a Shine Sprite Mario is unable to see for some reason.
